Oral Cancer Screenings

Prioritize your well-being with a proactive examination that ensures early detection and peace of mind.

At LP Dental, your oral health and overall well-being are our top priorities. Regular oral cancer screenings are a crucial part of our comprehensive dental care. Oral cancer is a serious condition that can be life-threatening if not detected and treated early. With our experienced dental team and advanced screening techniques, we aim to identify potential signs of oral cancer and provide timely intervention.

Our oral cancer screenings are conducted as part of your routine dental check-up. The process is quick, painless, and non-invasive. We will visually examine your oral tissues, including your lips, tongue, cheeks, throat, and the roof and floor of your mouth. We will also palpate the lymph nodes in your neck and jaw area, your TMJs, your chewing muscles, and your thyroid to check for any abnormalities. We will also complete a cranial nerve exam.

If any suspicious areas or lesions are identified during the screening, we may recommend further evaluation or a biopsy to determine the nature of the lesion. Early detection and intervention significantly improve the chances of successful treatment and positive outcomes.
